The 2025 MAC Doggie Pool Pawty!
Our annual Pool Pawty Fundraiser is a one-of-a-kind, dog-friendly event that gives pups and their people over an hour of splashing fun in a community pool before it’s drained for the season! Each year, this event sells out quickly, attracting a passionate crowd of animal lovers who want to support McKamey Animal Center’s life-saving work.
Each splash session lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tickets are $30 each and sold per dog, not per person – so bring the whole family! You must pre-register online to be admitted into the event. Door tickets will not be permitted. Tickets are limited. All proceeds benefit the McKamey Animal Center.

Swim Sessions:
9:30 AM – 10:45 AM Session 1: 40 SMALL DOGS ONLY (25 lbs or less)
11:00 AM – 12:15 PM Session 2: 30 Dogs (SOLD OUT)
12:30 PM – 1:45 PM Session 3: 30 Dogs
2:00 PM – 3:15 PM Session 4: 30 Dogs
3:30 PM- 4:45 PM Session 5: 30 Dogs
Pool Pawty Rules
- You must have a colored wristband to enter the event at your designated time.
- Your dog must be under your control at all times, even when off leash.
- Each dog must be accompanied by a responsible adult handler age 18+. No more than 2 dogs per handler, please!
- Only well-mannered dogs and their (well-mannered) handlers are allowed to participate. Dogs (and people) exhibiting aggressive, disruptive or unruly behavior will be asked to leave.
- Female dogs in heat may not enter the pool.
- You are solely responsible for cleaning up after your dogs. Bags are provided, please use them! Please note: If there is poop found in the pool, the pool will be shut down for mandatory cleaning. No refunds will be given if the pool is closed for cleaning.
- All swimmers – adult, children and dogs swim at their own risk! Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
- Dogs must wear flat buckle/snap collars when they are off-leash (No prong, choke or e-training collars will be allowed except to walk dogs to the entrance gate of pool). Full body harnesses and dog life vests are allowed.
- All dogs must be off leash to enter the water.
- When dogs exit the pool, we ask that you keep them on leash.
- Aggressive dogs (and people!) will be asked to leave the event.
- This event may be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, Covid, or poop found in the pool — we’re sorry, but no refunds will be provided. All proceeds raised at this event are used to support the life-saving work of MAC.
- Everyone entering the pool area will be required to sign a release of liability form.
- Please plan on leaving promptly at the end of your session so the next group of pawtiers can start on time!
