“Fore! The Animals” annual golf tournament, held on Monday, October 20th, 2025 at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, is a cherished event with over a decade of tradition. Serving as a heartfelt tribute to the memory of Robert G. McKamey, golfers from far and wide gather annually to tee off for a purpose greater than sport, rallying together to raise funds and awareness for the life-saving mission of McKamey Animal Center. Against the backdrop of lush fairways and scenic greens, participants swing their clubs with passion, knowing each stroke contributes to the well-being of countless furry companions. With every birdie and eagle, the tournament honors Robert McKamey’s legacy of compassion, leaving a lasting paw print on the hearts of both players and beneficiaries alike. All proceeds raised during this golf tournament directly supports the thousands of animals MAC serves and shelters in our Chattanooga community each year.

Remembering Bob McKamey...

The phrase “A Man of the People” never suited someone better than Bob McKamey. Every person he met was a new opportunity to foster something great. Investing his energy, time, wisdom, and love, the bond he created with others led to a future brighter than he ever could have expected. Turning a community into a family was just another day for Bob. No thank you needed, no reward required. One of his labors of love, McKamey Animal Center, seeks to give animals new lives they so desperately deserve. The effort continues, just as Bob would have wanted. We ask that you consider investing in MAC, the way Bob did.
