MAC Pet Food Pantry

We know sometimes things don’t go as planned and unexpected life events can occur leaving us feeling helpless when it comes to feeding and caring for our pets. Sometimes folks just need a helping hand to get by until they can get back on their feet – we understand. Our community Pet Food Pantry ensures no beloved pet goes hungry.

 

Individuals who reside within City limits of Chattanooga, Red Bank or Lakesite are welcome to utilize the MAC Pet Food Pantry as they need it. Please review our guidelines below.

Pantry Guidelines
  • You must reside within the City limits of Chattanooga, Red Bank, or Lakesite, TN. If you live outside of these areas but are still within Hamilton County, please reach out to the Humane Educational Society for assistance.
  • Pet food pick up is allowed once per month, per pet by household or family.
  • If you have a government issued ID, please bring it with you during pick up of your pet food.
  • We do not require an appointment for assistance. We do ask if possible, to please call us ahead of time to make sure we have food in stock. Please call (423) 305-6505.
  • Pet food is available for pick up at our Main Center and our MAC C.A.R.E.S Center. 
  • You understand pet food is available as supply allows and may not be available when you are in need. Please read below if you would like to help keep our pantry stocked.
  • We cannot guarantee certain brands, prescription food, specialty-diets, etc.
  • If you reside within the 37410 zip code (Alton Park neighborhood) and are in need, please reach out to us about our Pets for Life Chattanooga program by calling (423) 394-6421 or email our Community Outreach Coordinator.

Help Us Stock the Pantry

Can I Donate Food? Yes, absolutely! We are happy to accept any brand of dry/wet dog or cat food that is unopened and still within its expiration date.
