The MAC Cares Fund is designed to support families experiencing homelessness and those on the verge of becoming homeless by providing temporary emergency boarding assistance, pet supplies, housing fees and supportive veterinary care so they don’t have to also lose their beloved pets.  

Since its establishment in 2023, the MAC Cares Fund has helped thousands of families and their pets stay together. We have provided temporary boarding for both dogs and cats, given out thousands of meals, ensured connections with life-changing partner agencies within our community, and so much more.

Donations to the MAC Cares Fund do not go directly to the humans experiencing homelessness, instead they support the direct care and lifesaving resources and services we provide for the animals that help keep families intact.
