City Pet Licenses
All cats and dogs living in the Cities of Chattanooga, Red Bank and Lakesite are required to be licensed and have a current Rabies vaccination. Your pet’s license is a legally required form of identification and is your best friend’s most valuable asset in getting them home safely in the chance they get lost.
Each year, McKamey Animal Center receives more than 5,000 animals, yet the vast majority of them have no form of identification to assist us in reuniting them with their families. Your pet can’t tell us where they live, so speak for them by purchasing a pet license today.
McKamey Animal Center has partnered with DocuPet to provide an enhanced pet licensing experience for residents.
Register your pet to get a unique license tag for their collar. With DocuPet, you can choose a standard tag for free or upgrade to a colorful designer tag for an added fee. Every tag includes DocuPet’s free HomeSafe 24/7 lost pet service and features a unique 8-digit code linked to your pet’s online profile.
