Meet Your New Best Furriend!
Adopt a pet from McKamey Animal Center today! All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered (fixed/altered), microchipped, given parasite prevention, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations before leaving the Center with their new owner. That’s a $300+ value! Our range of adoption fees helps to support our mission and offset the cost of housing some pets for extended periods of time in addition to those who need life-saving medical care.
When looking at our adoptable pets you may notice they have each been tagged with a different color to represent their behavior category. Below is the breakdown of what this means.
Green Category
These pets would be great for most homes and even for first time pet owners!
Orange Category
These pets may need some kind of extra support/training to transition to a home environment successfully.
Purple Category
These dogs are looking for a home that is a perfect fit for them, and may have a number of reasons they are in this category.
