National Rescue Dog Day Adoption Event
Did you know that Saturday, May 20th is National Rescue Dog Day? Our friends at Harley Davidson do, and to celebrate the big day, they will be hosting an adoption event that their location on Lee Highway from 11am – 3pm!
MAC will be hanging out onsite with some incredible rescue dogs that would love to leave the event with you to their new home! If you’re in the market for a new rescue pet, make sure to add this date to your plans next weekend!

Empty the Shelters National Adoption Event
MAC is excited to announce that we are one of the 350+ shelters participating in Bissell Pet Foundation’s National Empty the Shelters Adoption Event!
May 1st through May 15th, Bissell Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell will be sponsoring adoption fees for ALL adult and senior dogs and cats!
All adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. No holds will be accepted. For questions, please call the MAC Adoptions Team at (423) 305-6500×4 or email adoptions@mckameyanimalcenter.org. And keep in mind that City Licenses, leashes, collars, carriers, etc. are not included in this special.

Fursday Thursday
Every Thursday, visit MAC and receive 50% off your adoption fee*! All adoptions will be done on a first come, first served basis. Please visit our Available Animals page to see who you may adopt! For questions, please call the MAC Adoptions Team at (423) 305-6514.
*This special applies to select animals only.
- When you adopt a second dog/cat the same day, the second pet will receive 50% off their adoption fee.
- Senior Citizen Discount – Individuals 65+ may take 50% off adoption fees on select animals.
